I just got of DPG where I played 3 rounds on Oman. This guy, MisterMagnificus kept team killing everybody and finishing every round with like -100 points. We tried several kick votes but we were always 1 or 2 votes short out of 18 to get rid of him. The funny part was, the admins didn't do anything about it. The whole game was ruined because instead of focusing on flags, we had to waste our time with this clown. It's not fun when you are being TK'd on purpose while capping a flag.

I had a couple of guys on a Warlord server last week with average scores of -185 or so each round, and we still couldn't get them kicked. They were never on my side, so I never personally got killed but it still ruinied the games.
One game the other side, the one with the TK'ers on it, won 5-0. The tk'er had the balls to say that his team was cheating and using hacks. His reason? That he had been tk'ing the entire round so they should have lost, what an ass.
They even had dumbass names like team_killer, and stop_punishing_tk'er. Best thing to do is ignore them since it is only attention they seek, now I just find a new server, there are plenty of them out there, when their server is empty they will get bored and quit.Comment

The tkpunish system doesn't work. 1.2 broke it and players are racking up big negative scores knowing they can't be kicked by votes (they never work) and can't be kicked by the tkpunish system.
As an admin we can't watch every player and know everything that's going on. We don't have any mystical powers that allow us to see more than any other player can. We need the players to help us to help you so if you see someone doing this on our server just ask for an admin and let them know, or come to our site and drop a message in the shoutbox, or jump on our TS and lets us know so we can deal with them.Comment

this kind of problem has been out there since the first PC game was ever made. There is nothing you can do. Either adapt, or find a different server. Simple as that:)Comment

My own thought, that Tk should be Punishable, meaning that a person who Tk's gets slayed, keeps Tking ends up with a point average on the BF2 game. So when he plays The game again, he would have a hard time to join servers. or something like that.Comment

Take a screenshot and report if he's just being "that" sort of idiot. Especially if the admins aren't doing anything about it (Were any present ?), most of the time though, I just don't tolerate that crap and leave.Comment

this server is ****, i've got banned from for teamkilling, ONE lazy AA missle hit a friendly heli, who happend to be full, when i saw i was about to be kicked, i did a few rants and typed no and stuff...Comment

admin did nothing??
my guess (hopefully) was no admin on duty
or playing too hard to notice
I am lucky - as admin - I keep a laptop running next to my desktop - (ie I do not have to tab-out to check)
and I keep the TK score column in view
I can see if it goes to negative in a hurry
and try to determine the cause
I might scan the console for events
but even better for admins
now built into our chat montor window
it hightlights TK
and more than 1 or 2 in a row
certainly 3 or 4
and that guy kets kicked
if he comes back and does it again - he gets bannedComment

I just played a server where a guy was teamkilling and he had at least -280... and he finally got vote kicked... and later on someone else was on and doing the same thing... meanwhile i'll kill someone once who is trying to teamkill for a vehicle and i'll get kicked...Comment

More often than not a game server has an associated website, check the loading screen text or just use common sense and google to find it if not.
From there you should get admin details for the server, I find its best to locate the IRC channel (almost all large/popular servers have one) and simply log on and ask for an admin, give a quick explination of the problem.
Sounds complex but it really only takes 30 seconds if you used to doing these things.
Boom, problem solved, alt tab back in game and enjoy the rest of the round.
If the server has little or no admin facility then do not play, simple as...Comment
