BF2 Optimizations affect SF?

Ok i did these optimization for BF2 http://www.totalbf2.com/forums/showthread.php?t=44287

which has eliminated all known lag and troubles for me with BF2. I just got Special Forces today and was wondering if these optimizations would affect special forces in any way like making it not install right?

If you renamed BF2.exe you'll want to change it back for the installation/patching, or the installer won't find it.

I don't see the usefulness in renaming the exe personally. I tried it and it made absolutely no difference. You might want to create a virtual drive with Alcohol120% or something similar. This way you dont have your disc sitting in the tray.
