I've been getting frustrated lately by lag times in the multiplayer games so I tried out the single player side. I know it takes a mod to use the unlocked weapons but does anything from the SP game count toward ranks or unlocks? Do the points count for anything or is it mainly for practice/killing time?

Sp does nothing for unlocks or rank.

It's offline, and couldn't count for anything more than practice for yourself.

SP will not affect your EA stats/points/ranks but you can set up a stat system for your own use. See

As for specs, I'm on a cable connection. 3.0GHz P4, 1GB Ram, 160GB HD, 512MB
GeForce 6800 .
