I know the command in console to show the fps in game, I was looking fora command line to put in the shortcut for the program itself so i wouldnt have to type the rather long renderer.drawFps 1, i tried +renderer.drawFps 1 in the shortcut to no avail, any help?

If you go into video.con file in your Profile in \My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\000X\ and add line
renderer.drawfps 1
then it should start up with it enabled.
If you go into video options in BF2, it might delete teh entry, so write-protect video.con after adding the line. If you need to make changes to video options in BF2 make sure to clear the write-protect first. -

FRAPS FRAPS FRAPS. The simple solution is usually the best. It's free. It takes beautiful screenshots even when it uses bmp. It takes short vids for free even if battlerecorder is off. Push F12 to move it to any of the four corners of your screen and a fifth press of F12 makes it go away. F12 to bring it back.Comment
