Long Load Time + Lag

Ever since the 1.2 patch, I have been experiencing extremely long load times and horrible lag within Battlefield 2. Just wondering if anyone else has had these problems and what you have done to fix them.

Custom Built Specs
Intel P4 3.0GHz w/ HT
Albatron PX915P Pro MoBo
XFX 6600 256MB
500W PSU
Creative Sound Blaster Live! 24-bit Sound Card
2.5GB PC3200 DDR400 RAM
