I think that #2 should really be considered. As what the guy said, all these spawn points should change in the next upcoming patch, cos now everyone knows where the spawn points are, and they can just stay there the whole game and start spawn-raping the other team. This is especially bad in Karkand, where the US tank starts by moving behind the Hotel spawn point at the little alley, and then shoots ppl the moment they spawn. They can get like 40 pts in 5 mins?? Wth...

my bigges tpet peeve is when a commander gets bored and decides to use his wonderful abilities killing lone players in the back of the map who are doing abosolutley nothing to influence the battle.

that used to be my tactic when i played commander back when teamkills counted against you. EVERY time i wanted to use arty for a useful purpose, friendlies swarmed everything. so i just artied empty bases and strays so i could get some use out of the damn arti without gettin 50 teamkills.

I would have to say my biggest pet peeve would have to be commander's that dont do their job. I cant count the times i've been playing and the commander is to busy fighting to give you UAV and artillery support. If you want to play commander then play it. The commander directs the battle and sends in support when needed not fighting with the grunts.

My biggest peeve is teammates who don't do their jobs! Do you have any idea how uselss I am as your commmander when I ask you to attack the position 20 feet away from you and you run off and start tk'ing each other for f*cking airplanes, or when your entire american team sits on their ass on the carrier doin nothing all round, and since none of them bother to join a damn squad, you cant even give them orders? It's the sh*t like this that makes me hate being commander.

The roll animation. It's just so wrong to put something like that in a mp game. Without there actually being a roll. If you get me.

All the person does is go prone, yet the other person usually sees a roll. Usually messes things up. As the person is prone but another is seeing a roll so the rolling person is actually just still and shooting and really confuses and irritates the person on the other side.

Now thats a pet peeve. Im sure it happens to everyone and even i do becuase it can't be controlled it just happens when someone goes prone.

When your in a Blackhawk/transport chopper, being the pilot and you tell people to jump out and cap the flag and they don't. What you expect me to hover nicely and land when theres probably a tank drawing a nice bead on the massive side of the blackhawk. Only for the people not to jump out becuase they want a 1st class ticket to the flag. It ain't gonna happen in 1.2, you jump out and parachute. It's a transport chopper not a flying APC. It ain't gona survive sh!t. I know i'll eventually get nailed by AA or something, just better to know it was just me in that BH than 5 other people in it too. And that i did my job of delivering them..

I really only have one.. The new missles special turns?.. I like flyin the helicopter still, and let me tell you. Those missles that comes from planes, and AA do more wackier things than I have seen in my entire life. 90 degree turns right before it hits the target, bouncing off the planes/helos, and going over the target then back into its original path. Yeah they are crazy!

The AA missles don't bother me.

The rolling of a diving character is annoying. If your player rolls, you're view should roll too, because your head will be spinning.

You said that commander thing isn't a bug? Its supposed to be that way? Please explain.

Yah the guys that just sit around waiting for a airplane, chopper,or something else for most of the game just need to leave. I'm not the best player but I'm not the worst. I can be busy trying to take CP's getting my but blown off and look at the carrier and there's six guys just standing there. Come on get off your buts and help. I guess some people if their not flying their useless to the team.

I think actually getting the game to run without crashing would be a bgger problem.

sorry to revive an old thread, but i do not like making new ones. with that said, here is one of my peeves that i experienced last night:

i was in an empty usi server, adwhari or something like that, and was flying the apache. a guy came in and we began to dogfight, he in the hind. he took me down twice, which i let him do so he would stay (at my brother's advice to keep the person in the empty server). well, a couple more players joined, and it was all out war. i took him down like 5 times in a row, and even took down a jet with the apache. next thing i know, the guy that had come in first was on our runway in an AA vehicle, and we had most of the flags. me and this guy even had a meaningful conversation before everyone started jumping in. regardless, this ****ed me off.

why do people who cant win at aerial combat usually decide to go to the uncappable main to rape?

if you cant hit a jumping or laying target you have issues..

youre probably one of the morons who cried and whined to get EA
to stop people from firing while jumping..

if you want to complain about REAL, irrefutable problems, then look
no farther than choppers taking bases from the air.. since when did
aircraft of any type take ground... NEVER.

My peeves...

1. People that still type "PWNT!" when they land a kill, but their KDR is less than 1.

2. A commander that sits near the assets, but refuses to take an engineer's kit.

3. The short lock range and lock duration of AA turrets.

4. (Warning: tactical spoiler) I hate how the map will show when abandoned vehicles or turrets are manned. When a turret disappears from the map, you have a 99% certainty that someone is sitting in it. What better way to tell pilots "hey, guess who wants you to bomb them!"

5. I agree with all statements regarding squads that will not move, attack, or defend waypoints set forth by commanders. The commander can see 120% more than you (100% for zoomed-in satellite view, 20 for the radar scan), so he should know where to put you. If you think he's an idiot, do what he orders anyway. As the old-timers in my work have told me "the best way to get your boss fired is to do exactly what he tells you to do."

6. I hate ADD squads. If you cap a base, ESPECIALLY a strategic one, hold it. Do not cap a base and run away. More often than not, if you cap a base that was once in the enemy's hands, they'll come to you. All it takes is a 3-man team of a medic, special forces, and AT kits.

7. Lone wolves. For Pete's sake, at least start your own squad and lock it so you can talk to the commander and ask for assets. If you're some jerk running around with no direction or you think your work is sooooo much more important than the team's work as a whole, at least do something special like blow up their assets or camp a chokepoint. Don't spend 5 minutes hoofing it to a l33t sniping spot only to get artillery on you when you arrive. Thanks for wasting 5 minutes and a ticket.

8. I hate how EA can release a patch that has bogged down my game's internet stability, yet so many bugs are still unfixed. BF2142 will NOT be on my X-mas list.

yes, I'm bitter, but I have come to grips with that.
