Try the demo, and you'll notice. Basically it's arcade oriented racing game with many different car classes and quite impressive damage modelling. The demo might differ from the final version, or that's what i've heard.

Well I played the new MP demo it isn't to bad really.

GHX are kinda the same as TOCA 2 a little better, better shadows and whatnot.

Gameplay feels like TOCA 2 wich isn't a bad thing. Tons of cars. So many different catagories.

Bottom line it's a decent game. Worth the pick up IMO

its out allready? damn i had toca 2 for my xbox it was awesome. Got a little hard towards the end but a good game..

I still have TOCA2 on PC but ever since different DirectXs came out, the game no longer recognizes my Logitech Momo steering wheel which adds to the realism of the game.
Now Codemasters pretty much passes the buck from Microsoft to my Saitek USB keyboard. Hell, they blamed my BFG video card. I sent Codemasters different Diagnostics from various DirectX to vid drivers and they can't come with a solution.
Codemaster even from time to time ignores my emails for tech support.
I tried TOCA 3, and feels the same way as TOCA2. So my suggestion is to get the TOCA 2 are clearance bin prices or wait till TOCA 3 drops it price.
I got better experience with old Colin Mcrae 2 and GT Legends. GTL is crazy with its realism. I got some old 5100 Logitech THX speakers and I loaded 20+ sound effects on my MiniCooper and YOU CAN HEAR from springs, rocks, bump, thuds...goes on and on. And the response from my Momo is outstanding.

Get GTL instead for $20. Its worth it.

I buy GTR last year. Good game but there is few things I don't like about it:
- it's a real simulation, very hard to perform and you need to spend a lot of time (a lot of time) to get good at it. If you don't know what a sim is, try it, you will get the picture very quickly. I didn't have the time required to have fun at it.

- AI in GTR is very badly implemented, oppenent cars bump you (at 250 MPH) all the time. You end up in the field too often because of AI.

- GTR has MANY bugs. Very erritating.

I suppose GTL is the same: a very hard sim that requires a lot of time to get good at it. is it?

GTL isn't too hard. It all depends on what level of difficulty you play on. In GTR they had an arcade type mode witch was more or less like TOCA. I love the cars in both games so IMO these are both best racing games made.
