capture the flag was fun sometimes in BF1942 , but after all, I do like the gameplay as it is now the best, If I want to play things like that, I would play unreal or something, but it gets boring very quickly

We just need to kidnap DICE and force them to make these new game modes!

Assault UT2004 style, where u have 1 team defending each position intill the advancing team over runs it, intill they reach the final goal. The rounds are timed to c which team can finish the assault the fastest, each taking turns defending. This was my fav mod on UT. It was pretty cool and would transfer to BF2 pretty well

Deathmatch 100%, basically remove all silly flag capturing and focus on killing other people

Some other ideas have been good though, but they are not going to happen.

Capture the Flag. Once Battlefield 2 has implemented CTF, the thousands of players can once again wage bloody, all-consuming war for the mythical object known only as, "the flag."

that would be good. maybe the medics would fly around in a slow byplane thing, and if they see a wounded soilder, they would paratroop out and then rush back to base to get picked up again

the fact you have one chance you survive is a bit bad, maybe if you get killed, you have to lye there untill a medic revives you.

Yeah, that makes sense. Of course, when all you're medics are dead, you're in trouble

If DICE could code it, it would be nice to have deployable TOW's and MG's. The engineer could "build" these at critical positions, but you'd only be allowed one or two of each.

If BF2 was CTF and S&D, I think it would rock.

S&D would be pretty hard to impliment, and with 32 players each side... it could get messy.
