F.E.A.R.

This game is very fun and cool. The graphics are nice and the gameplay is enjoyable. I just started it and purchased it today. Has anyone beaten it? Is it a good game through the end? Good ending?

I have been playing it for two weeks. The single mode is very good, but the MP mode is VERY BAD. Do not buy this game for the MP mode, it's not up to what the market can offer you for MP mode.

The single mode = very good.

The ending, i think, is outstanding. The way the story finally closes, is very entertaining. And yes, the singleplayer is where the game is at for F.E.A.R., the story, the freaky/scary moments, and the wonderfull graphics combined with intense shoot outs make the game one of the best of 2005, and surely the first half, or all of, 2006.

Yes I'm into it fairly far in one day... I think! It seems better then doom 3 was in my opinion so far. It's kind of like swat/resident evil!

good game, the SP is pretty good, but gets boring, and I personally love the MP. I think the MP rocks, they need rankings tho ^_^. good game, good grahpics.

Yeah good game, maybe too repetitive, but the sounds and the disapearing guys are freaky.

never tried Multi Player... But beat SP over a weekend (Wife was out of town and did a lot of gaming that day.)

While visually stunning. It got repetative (Enemy) and I felt it was a bit short.

Wont say anything about the ending untill you post you beat it, but I have a few things about that too.

Ok I just beat the game and it had the typical horror ending although it did remind me strangely of a Resident Evil ending that kind of ended in same scenerio (town explodes etc). I wish it would have went a little farther and explained a little more. I understand his origins and other stuff. Anyways it was a good game and I did have fun. It was a tad bit to short though.

Still I give it a 9 out of 10 mark!

I'm amazed... or perhaps it is simply a reflection of myself. (most likely the 2nd one)

I enjoyed the game right up to the ending... then because of the ending.. I hated the entire game. Way to short... BS ending (Personal opinion) and again, never tried it MP only on SP but i hear the mp is pretty good

And... Where the heck was the monster from teh demo in the retail ver of the game?

BTW, i guess they're making sequal(s) to the game, on the PC (of course) and i guess next gen consoles aswell. I'd probably only buy the PC version, i really couldn't even think about trying to use a controller for it, slow-mo? jump kicks? How'd they do it without causing fustration while trying to play? Oh well, don't care, aslong as another Fear game is comming i'm quiet happy.

they are making a sequal!?!? they should make something like enemy territory quake wars or something really really cool with the engine and their skill, instead of a sequal to FEAR.

the big machine that fell through the ceiling? you see it near the middle of the game its the annoying ******* that hsoots rockets all the time, you encounter about 3 of these

Hmmm.... I dont recall seeing them in the retail of the game.

Dangit... now I got to go back and reload the game
I was probly drinking while I played it and forgot they were in it.

Ya that things a pain in the ass, same as those things that come through the windows, there like electric robots and they fly.

I've had this game since about when it came out and im only on like the 5th level.

Same for Far Cry, had it since it came out and just completed it 2 weeks ago, I think games have more longetivity if you play them over time.
