Sounds good......but what about the gunners? I can fly the helicopters real well and the new AA makes it a challenge.

So....then you guys will be the Airforce......what about those other guys that hog the jets and helicopters?

There will a ladder for 1v1 heli and 2v2 heli .. 2v2 heli is pilot and gunner.

indeed it does, its just not really a traditional dogfight, i guess i can retract my previous statement :)

No need to worry about the laws of physics, no need to worry about g-forces, stalling or putting too much stress on your plane, yep it's really tough isn't it

If you've played flight sims, I'm sure you most of you would agree BF2's flight system is very easy to work with and requires little skill to get used to.

actually, with the new fly-by-wire system, you don't have to worry about the physical limitation (say trans-sonic instablity) as much anymore.

J10, JSF, and Su series all use FBW.

If you've played flight sims, I'm sure you most of you would agree BF2's flight system is very easy to work with and requires little skill to get used to.

Yes Battlefield 2 disregards a large part of flying, but the scale is also much smaller and you're constantly getting all up in peoples grills. It's best if you don't think of Battlefield 2 as a definitive flight simulator and more like that Crimson Jihad guy flying the harrier in True Lies: unrealistic as hell but totally kick ass.

This should be interesting!! I'm curious to see how Planewhore performs in this league, unless, of course, he backs off for fear of some noob putting 2 missiles up his tailpipe.

He will probably perform quite well. Skilled pilots in BF2 still put the smackdown on less skilled pilots. It's just more a game of hide and seek now.

Yeah, there'd probably be a lot more participants if there was a 1v1 "Bomb the crap out of infantry with pre-1.2 AA" League.
