Single shot bug

I want to know if I'm not alone on this: The single shot bug is when (without press it) your on single shot. Im shooting one guy on full auto, run round the corner, see another, fire, but now Im on single shot...I then die.

I did see it before patch1.2 but I did'nt take much notice of it, thinking that I myself might of pressed the '3' key without knowing.
But its happening more now. Anyone else find this (so-called bug)?

You know what's worse than that? The mysterious Pack Memory. When you kill an opponent, and he was in single-shot mode, but you are in full-auto, and you pick up his pack, all of a sudden you're in single-shot mode! I can't begin to count the number of times this has gotten me killed.

you could be hitting 3 accidentally switching to single shot mode. I've found I do that sometimes and end up on the losing end of the gun battle only to realize I had hit 3 accidentally.

I think this has been removed. I remember pondering over getting my kit reset when I picked it up. I was on single fire and dropped my kit for support or medic and then switched back I think my weapon was reset to auto.

I've never seen this. The only times this has happened to me was my own fault. That, I'm sure of. :)

If you have your main gun equiped and scroll down the weapon menu to your main menu and click it will do the same as pressing 3. Try not to do that.

I've seen this...and its gotten me killed many times. one time i had just spawned a few seconds before, had an mp5 out (hadn't used it in a while so said what the heck), and engaged an enemy. What do you know...semi auto...never had even touched the number keys!...that's just an example, but I have seen it plenty of times.

I was not clicking "3" twice, or using the scroll wheel to accidentally select it. I am SURE of this.
