Im missing

I played some multiplayer games and i always had a chance to gab and comment about the game we just had, before next map loaded.Obviously game type we have here doesnt permit many ingame conversation, but at least we should have a chance to talk and criticize, congrat or just talk at each other while we are waiting next map to load, wouldnt u agree?
I realy miss that , i made a lot of friends all over the world like that.

yeah that one thing i dont like about bf2, in other games i enjoy being able to talk to people on the other team whilst the map loads, or after deaths in non respawn games

More servers need round time delays to give slow loaders a chance because it's BS to not have ones buddys in their squad and for some fool with high specs to have the first grab of that tank just for that first round.

Yeah thats all we need, slow down the map loading process even more. I would go for it if the process was fast so an added delay of a few seconds wouldnt matter but as it is Im waiting upwards of a minute and a half for the map to load the the client to verify,

Im not talking about the time next map is loaded im talking about the possibility i can speak to other players while its loading.

if you could talk while the map was trying to load it would take at least 15x as long, you know DICE would never be able to handle something like that.

Personnaly I think: No we dont!
We have allready had several patched items to address issues for people who refuse (or cant) upgrade their systems... or are limited to dialup connections.

I know not everyone has the "Uber computer" (I am one without) but lets stop "slowing/retarding" the game to make up for it.
Another example was the water effects taken out of the game because of Lag/graphic issues... While not a big thing it is ultimately the result of people still trying to play this game on sys specs that are below or at minimum requirements that cant get ultra-high settings.

I was playing soldier of fortune II for years, it came out in 200X something im not sure but i think around 2000, and i had a p3 866 with 256mb, 9800 pro.and it worked like charm. we could talk and play at the same time , and especialy when next map was loading we told our oponents what they deserve lol, and they told our team whats comming to us next map too lol.
What im trying to say (in my limited english) is that when we played that game and it was 32 or more players, i kinda felt were all connected.

In bf2, although im in squad , at the end i feel like im just a number participated, not sharing joys or anger with anyone.

Before 1.12 water made splashes when you hit it with anything including arty.

Now it only splashes with arty and maybe tank shells...
