Need help setting up joystick

ok heres the deal, I really need help setting up my joystick. I cant get it on bf2.:cry:

Pretty sure it has to be (Cant recall 100%).

my joystick plugs into my sound card.



btw does ur joystick work for any other games, or is it only broken for bf2

im not sure...since mine goes into the sound card, but after you plug it in, sometimes u get a message to install it...but prob not

so afterwards...go to Control Panel and click on game controllers (if u dont see it and u have XP, click on "switch to classic view" on the left panel

under Installed game controllers, u might see ur joystick type, and if u dont, click on add and choose ur type of joystick ..and then click on properties to calibrate it
im not sure if this will work for u, but i say give it a try (itll take less than 2 minutes)

Not to sound harsh but that basicly useless, you havent given us any info atall.

What make & model is it?

most joysticks are usually the same, unless im way off correct me....but dont forget to go into options to set ur joystick to the aircraft part of keyboard settings

MY joystick has its own drivers. if its one of those cheep nameless one then you just plug it in srt it up in the control panel, loginto bf2 and set up the controls and away you go. But most have some drivers that you install.

u have to set up ur keys in the options for the plane u have to tell it what to do and stuff

Would help if you described the joystick, does it have a brand ?

i have it installed and i go to options in bf2 screen and i try to click buttons on joystick but it doesnt change the options , the joystick doesnt work ingame
