Other ambient sounds

ok ive looked on the forums cant seem to find exactly what im looking for.

What im after is a way to add the other ambient sound u hear on some of the levels. ie; Windy_outpost_crane on the Gulf of Oman level.

and also if i do add these sounds will it affect the modified content?
