kits in maps

hey guys i searched the forum for it and i cant find anyhting that point me in the right way so can some help me ?

well i wonna know if it is possable and how you do it

i wonna add the kit bag its self to a map so say if u spwon as a spec ops u can pic up the AT kit at the spwon and use the AT kit on the map

your guys know what i mean

by the way its for a mod not a bf2 map

It can't be done and if it can, no one has been able to do it yet.
I and others have tried, but apparently the variable which controls the ammount of time it stays on the ground is hardcoded into the game. I've experimented in the con files which various code but no cigar....let alone finding a way to actually spawn them into a game.

It can be done, but you'll have to learn to script Python :)

AFAIK FH2 has done it and has got it working ingame

so you'll pick up the bag for instances if theres and apc or tank or any vehical and you are for example a sniper. So it would be easier to take it out. If thats it I get what you mean, that would be pretty interesting being able to randomly placing them around a map, then picking them up when you are in trouble... sweet idea... makes the game more fast paced.

Its possible and it requires only a small change.
You have to assign a collision mesh to it.
