Ok here goes i find myself playing sas alot just so i can use certain weapons, that i cant when im insurgent forces for example f2000. and i got to thinking in vanilla BF when you unlocked it, it was good for what ever side you where on , chinese, insurgent or american. i know it might seem silly but it kinda bugs me cuz you unlocked it so hey it should be yours no matter what team your on.i know it might seem silly for an insurgent to carry a mg36. I'd like to know everyones opinion on it just outta morbid curiosity.

I very often find myself as insurgent or spetznaz and trying to swith the sniper rifle to the L96, but i only get two choices.

I just want to be able to use the pump shotgun as a MEC engineer. I think all kit weapons should be available to every instance of that kit, regardless of faction.

DICE said that they chose certain guns for balance purpose, but honestly, there's so much variety now that it hardly matters.

It wouldn't be fair, and it'd make the booster packs pointless. They're adding new default weapons for euro forces, and if everyone had the unlocks no one would bother with the defaults.

The defaults are some of the best guns in the game.

Well i wouldnt say it would make them pointless APK alot of us i think buy the boosters for other reasons also, like the new maps and the new vehicles. Dont you think though that if you worked so hard to get to the next rank to get your unlocks you should be able to use them when ever you want, not just depending what team your on.

In a way...but I find it to be a challenge when everyone is given default weapons. If you look at it in terms of fairness, noobs get no good unlocks, while the more experienced get their unlocks. On all default-weapon maps, even the best people are stuck with defaults, so you can sort of master them. Euro Forces appears to have the L96 as a default, as well as the P90 o_o

And variable, I agree. I'd take the AK101 over the crappy F2000 any day...even post 1.2.
