Hello,

I just bought a Joystick just for BF2, hoooked it up, but when i seat in the chopper, nothing works, i can lift it i can move it once its lift

i have to use keyboard and mouse again... is there anything special i need to do in order to make it to work?

im no bf2 guy as of yet (havent bought it.. just perusing the forums to see if i wanted to buy it in the first place), but im just a puter guru..
my guesse is their is a menu or option place for setting of keys and assignment of stuff for controls, in order to make something like a new joystick or key assignment work. thats how it is with most games.

You need to configure the key assignments in game for both helicopter and planes.

Yes, have you visited the Options->Controls section and then actually mapped the joystick buttons and axes in each of the Helicopter and Plane sections?
