Search feature on forums

Someone please explain to me how the search feature works. I was trying to find threads about the mp7 and a search reveals nothing. I know for a fact that I had seen some posts about the mp7 but nothing comes up.

Am I just a complete moron and using the search incorrectly? I tried searching for "m95", "g3" , and "mp7" and get nothing for any of them when I know there are posts containing that text.

Please help my dumb ass.

Most if not all forum search engines have a minimum string length for search strings. It's usually three characters, but given your experience, this forum probably has it set to four characters.

try searching different related keywords, such as "anti-tank" or "weapons." You just gotta filter through stuff and play with the keywords until you get what you want.

The search feature on TotalBF2 only works on days with an 'x' in it.

If you want an accurate search then ues the 'search in titles only' feature. This will always work 100% while the 'search entire posts' is pretty crap.


The best way to search the site though is via Google.
