So....which maps tend to last the longest?

Im tring to get my combat infantry medal, stat tracker says I need a 33 min round. I have over 550 hours in this game and find it VERY hard to belive Ive never played a 33 min or longer round. So with that said, which maps and number of player configurations tend to last the longest?? thx

usually maps like karkand and sharqi take the longest time because ticket bleeding is usually not an important factor. those maps are basically death matches. I usually find sharqi to be the one that lasts the most.

I reckon Kubra is among the longest map to play, but you need to play on the 64 map with only about 20 players.

the length of the round is deetermined by the number of tickets and players. i think that the longest games are a 32 man karkand with 999 tickets. but no server has a 99 ticket games so just look around for a game with a high ticket rate or count.

You might have played that long in a round before, but you have to meet the other requirements before getting that part. Any time an award/medal has global requirements and In-a-Round requirements you have to complete the global ones first, then get the IAR ones in a single round. Just look for a server running a 64 player map with 20 or so players. Which map doesn't really matter, although maybe something like Oman where each side has an uncappable base so that one team doesn't lose all their bases and get beat early.

Any 64 map with the least amount of players will do fine. For infantry, city maps are the best.

Ideal situation is a large map (64 players) with a little people as possible, if the map stays reasonably balanced flag wise then it can last a long time.

Make sure to check the sever you're joining doesn't have a time limit before you try for this one :)

Definitely Kubra Dam 64 player map and <32 players

yer 64 maps. karkand maps do drag on (sadly, oh how i hate it), sharqi doesnt go too long <3. Zatar wetlands is huge so games can last yonks.. your call m8.

Any map that does NOT have uncapturable spawn point for one of the teams will tend to last long.

are u sure u have all badges necesarry for combat infantry medal? and also other global reqs?:hmm:

just asking ....

might i suggest that if u want a long round look 4 a wake island server with about 12 people playing and the game has just started..... i played a number of games that i think lasted ages when i join these servers:)
