    Re: Skinning?

    Just do a search for skinning in this forum.

    In a nutshell, Open your "Object_client.zip" in BF2 mod directory.

    Open the following folders...
    ?:\BF2\mods\bf2\Objects_client\soldiers\Us\Texture s.

    You can replace the "Us" with Mec or Ch to gtet to the other armies.
    These texture .dds files need to be opened in a good paint package. I recommend Photoshop CS2. You can download a 30 day free trial from Adobe.
    You will also need the .dds convertor for Photoshop.
    Find it here.. http://developer.nvidia.com/object/p...s_plugins.html

    Now back to the files in the soldiers directory.
    All files that have a "c" in the file name are the ones that you want to edit.

    Just double click on them and if you have the above dds convertor it should auto open Photoshop and display the image for changing.

    Save the file in the same format {DXT1 or DXT5 format}

    I would make a copy of your BF2 mod folder and just change the name so you can revert back to the original when wanting to play online.

    With this little knowledge, you should have some fun.

    :salute:
