Special Symbols next to player names?

Hey guys,
I have been playing the game a little over 3 months now, and i have just noticed these symbols instead of ranks next to players names. Can someone tell me what these are?

For example, i see this bronze type of leaf? and Silver wings? Can someone please explain it for me.

thats the new ranks introduced with the 1.2 patch!
oak leaves - major
silver wings - colnel
for better ones look in the forums

Everyone can't be as great as you and so therefore the forums are a great way to find things out.

yeah god forbid someone might have a question to ask ? Dont let the mindless clutter of others steer you away from the forums. Alot of cool people on here but as with everything else there are the bad apples.

Sad part is all those darn useless symbols get in the sightway when your trying to clear an enemy next to the Toronto Maple Leaf guy.
