Whats with all the whiners?

OK so I know I'm relatively new to BF2, I played for like a week on someone else's account and have played a few games on my own....

I've played a lot of online games....CS, Starcraft, Halo, etc....

And I have to say that I have never seen as many whiners as I have on BF2!!

Bunnyhopping this, vehicle whoring that....

Why can't people just play the game and learn to adapt to the way people play. obviously it's widespread and not going away anytime soon. so instead of complaining just play the damn game or find a new game to play.

Unfortunatly in this game, those that whine the most will control how this game develops. I know it sucks, but you have to deal with it. Also, there is a fine line between whiners and those that make suggestions to make this game better, although these days It seems like the line has all but disappeared.

My advice, take people's bitching with a grain of salt. Do let them stress you out.



BTW, you're Puck's daughter right? I think he mentioned on the R2 boards, that his daughter used the name Owned_by_A_Girl. I may have completly lost my mind on the other hand though.

yes, I know. It is quite frustrating. People that play this game just assume that they are going to be rambo and have so many kills and blah blah blah. But when someone that has played the game much more than them comes along and kills them, OH MY! the world is coming to an END!!! lol

just have to...ignore it really. I think the only part that sucks is how the whiners effectively changed how the game is played. I was fine with how the game was in 1.0...sure some of the new things like ranks and such are cool...a few fixes here and there (the ones they actually did fix lol)...

But frankly with this game, just have to realize there are a lot of immature people playing...and the best thing you can do is when they start whinning...ignore them and make sure you are on the oppisite team so you can end their whinning days with a well placed head shot

totally agree with you. Its always fun making a whiner quit the game or just make them more frustrated. And just like any other game your gonna have a handfull of cry baby's. It will be a long time before EA makes everyone happy.

I couldn't figure that out myself. Out of all the games I have played BF2 (with some exceptions) has to be the most unfriendly game I have played.

Delta Force 2 which YES btw is still going with 400 strong is still in my opinion the friendliest FPS game I have played, i can join a server and say "Hi" and get 10 replies back welcoming me to the game, I'm lucky if I get a single reply in BF2.

Mind you all those posts those idiot whiners make tend to be quite funny to read.

Just make sure you find some decent server to play on, most of them arnt very well managed. Id recoment the 50K servers I hardly play on any others anymore.

Its the internet, and ignorance is a bliss.

These are forums, people talk here to each other. One part of these conversations is disappointment. Discussing your disappointments is arguably the most interesting topic. DONT assume that whiners are idiots or whatnot. Personally Im a very adapting person, but I also like to talk/post a lot.
And with such a variety that BF2 offers, expect a variety of people aswell.
I have yet to see whining on servers, so you can easily draw your own conclusions. Mine are- people whine because its interesting, is a part of communication on the forums. The complaining topics offer the most entertaining sources of a good read.

BF2 has yet to beat SWAT4 in the bug compartment. At least DICE didnt slip in a mistake that gave a SMG 20 pound JHP bullet...
