Calling all X850XT PE Owners....

What are you in game settings for Battlelfield 2? What resolution do you play at?

I'm playing at 1680x1050 with ALL of my settings on HIGH, but no AA. I guess my question is what level of AA would be acceptable at my resolution with my video card. I have 2 gigs of ram and a P4 3.46Ghz EE with RAID 0 Raptors.

Sup- 1280x1024 Ultra high (if it does anything, sometimes I think I see a difference), except for shadows on low, it helps to see into dark area's. I have it on 6x aa. I get at least 60fps most of the time, and low 30's under heavy blinding battle.

Currently 1024x768, all settings high with no aa. (DOes aa really help?)My card has been running hot so I am waiting for my Artic Cooler ATI Silencer 5 Rev 2. fan to show up(any day) and hopefully by bringing the temps down(current gaming temp=68c,idle temp=43c using ATITool to control fan speeds). My Samsung syncmaster 930B won't go any higher.

All high and max settings.

Might I also add that you over paid for the Extreme Edition Pentium 4.

I have my P4 3.4Ghz OC'd to 2.53Ghz with a FSB equal to that of your Extreme Edition and I also paid about 1/3 or less then you did.

Terrain = Medium
Effects = Medium
Geometry = High
Texture = High
Lighting = Medium
Dynamic Shadows = Medium
Dynamic Light = Medium
Antialiasing = 4x
Texture Filtering = High

Runs also great when everything set to high, but I don't see much difference over medium....

1280 X 1024 @ 70HZ = everything high with 6 X AA for 16player maps

anything more than 16 players then 1280 X 1024 everything medium (terrain & geometry high) with 2 X AA

play at

1280x something i dont know it's the standard 17" LCD setting

all high

4 x aa

dynamic shadows and lightning on medium

never dips below 70 but when i'm in a 16+ game it sometimes goes to 60ish but it's around 70-99 mostly when in a 40 player game
