One thing I enjoy doing is spawning as AT and sneaking aboard the carrier... Then I kill jets as they take off, usually in one hit... I am even more effective if my commander will drop a crate for me to resupply..


I find this frustrates the opposing team to no end, yet they are at most times too lazy to come looking for me.. I keep an eye out, though just in case..

This help my team out a-lot by keep enemy jets grounded...

Its a bit noobish, I wonder how many points you have as it would be hard to get many as you keep getting kicked.

I think people who whine about enemies in uncapable bases are noobs...

Woah yeah, cos when somebody takes a tank to airfield, it should be really easy to kill right? What with all the stationary choppers/jets.

why do people get so wound up on these forums. He posted a tactic he uses to counter enemy jets, so why do you guys act like he has just punched your dad or something, if you cant deal with 1 anti tank person when it is about 10 v 1 then there is somethng wrong. The only type of spawn camping i dont like is if someone sits in an alley way in a tank (eg: karkand)

It's just a general rule that stems back to BF 1942 and more or less considered a cheap way to get kills.
Most servers that don't allow this "Uncappable Flag" rule will have it on the welcome message or it will state "go to our clanpage.com to read the rules"
But if there is no rules stated for game play on the server go for it.
Main base spawn camp to your hearts desire.:p

A bit noobish? Oh, so he shouldn't do it cuz his score won't be uber. Nevermind he's keeping a jet down that very well might run over to his airbase and nuke a plane on the tarmac. Points over team eh.

All you tactical moralists need to be enlightened. Just let go. It's all good on the battlefield. Adapt. Make up new tactics not new rules. Inventing rules, like kicking for attacking planes in the uncappable, is the most noobish thing I've ever heard of.

The only type of spawn camping i dont like is if someone sits in an alley way in a tank (eg: karkand)

There are no alleyways by uncappable bases at Karkand, rushing a flag alone in a tank is a good way to get C4'd or AT'd, much better to stand off and wait for infantry support.

You know what is really sad about this? You have a bunch of plane whores who have no qualms about flying around bombing a lone CP or an uncapable CP but then have the audacity to give this guy crap about sitting on their aircraft carrier that he had to travel a considerable distance to get to, by the way, and then waits until someone gets in a plane who is no doubt going to do their best to rape as many CP’s as they can, and don’t try to tell me that all you plane jockeys are all noble and would never do such a thing because you know you would be lying, and they get mad. If that isn’t the best example of being a hypocrite, then I don’t know what is.

Now I agree that someone that gets in a tank and just sits at a CP and just camps it or if someone in an attack copter does it that is a whole different story but this guy is talking about taking out the aircraft not just camping the post to kill anyone that spawns in. He even said himself that he found it funny that no one would even try to find him or go after him. Now who’s fault is that? If he said that he was a support guy and that he would just lay there in wait and shoot anyone that spawned in then you would have a reason to b**ch but he is an AT guy who has limited ammo and any other kit has a huge advantage against him in close combat so if you poor plane whores can’t stop one AT guy then I don’t feel sorry for you one bit. What he is doing is no different than someone that uses a Spec Ops guy to take out the arty does. He is doing a service to his team by not letting the opposition get their planes off the ground that will no doubt make bombing runs against ground troops that have no way to defend themselves. But that would be okay….right?

As far as Im concerned as soon as an enemy jumps into a plane or chopper they become fair game (pre 1.2 where aircraft decided which team won on most maps). Now you may think and say that Im a noob, lamer, camping loser and anything else mean that you can think of, but guess what I dont give a flying F*** what you think of me. I play this game for fun thats it, I will always choose a good fire fight with someone over just a spawn kill rampage, hell ive been know, while driving a tank or APC to let Medics, snipers or support enemy soliders which run infront of me go, why you ask because it's not fun to kill someone so helpless. I draw the line at aircraft though, as soon as I see an enemy jump into a aircraft I will use any and all means at my disposal to kill you.

I did the very same thing on Wake. I only took out the pain in the ass jet boys who think they dominate the game. This guy started to cry every time I stuck a rocket up his plane's ass during take off. Man did I laugh. It was the most fun I had yet. And thats what the game is about. Having fun! You can ban me all you want cause I will still do it. There are plenty servers left. My advice is this... chill have fun, team kill if you want and do what you want. ITS A GAME FFS!!
