This is a general information announcement design to put some people at ease and also to inform others who are misguided.
Please note throughout this post I am talking about legal game downloading, for example, using Steam or EA Downloader.
Time and time again I see people who are very anti-game-downloading. Common arguements include:
And many more. I'd like to clear up a myth and set some people straight on this matter.
When you buy a game on something like EA Downloader or Steam, you are NOT buying a single, one-off download. You have an account with the company in question, and when you buy a game, it is stored in their records. This means that you can simply log in to your account and download the game.
Then, say you undergo a fit of madness and instantly delete the game. Oh no! It's gone! You'll have to buy it again!
NO.
You log in to your account and download it again. That's all. You can download it as many times as you like, but only pay for it once.
I'm sorry to all those people who already knew this and are now demanding a refund of their precious time wasted, but I'm seeing posts time and time again that are incorrect on this matter.
Of course, for those who want to keep Euroforce for all time in preperation for the day in the far future when it won't be around to download any more, you could burn it to a CD (or to take it to an offline computer, for example).
In a way, this is MORE safe than a hard copy. If you lose, scratch or break a CD-ROM, you have to buy a new one. If you lose or delete a downloaded game like Euroforce...you can get it back for free.
Please note that this is not a pro-euroforce thread, I'm not telling you all to get out there and download it ASAP. I certainly won't be. But it's just a point of general info for you all.
Hope it helps someone.

Time and time again I see people who are very anti-game-downloading. Common arguements include:
- What if the download is interrupted/corrupted?
- What if I want to reformat, get a virus, etc.?
And many more. I'd like to clear up a myth and set some people straight on this matter.
