Mine I got from my initials plus x, which just makes it sound cooler. Plus, its a short simple name, so it sticks into peoples heads much better than something like _EY_QODso149. I was surprised it wasn't taken already.

First used in my first real fps , Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight.... I took it from my favorite album at the time... I always loved the album's prolouge (below) and the name stuck in every game I've migrated to.

Mine is my DJ(turntablist) name... PrayingHands. I like the play on words if you change the "a" to an "e"...PreyingHands...nice

Oh and I have a tatoo of praying hand with a chrome 4 finger ring that says "connect" (see my avatar)

I enjoy having the least serious name on every server I join. It makes me smile when I kill somebody with a super-serious, pretentious name designed to impress others... like "GangstaKilla", and I imagine what their reaction must be to see this utterly idiotic name to the left of theirs.

Someone had stolen my name in DF2. I decided I needed something original. While contemplating my new handle and staring at my can of Copenhagen, it struck. Copenhagen Cap`N Hagen.

First off it's got nothing to do with Ninja turtels.
chosse mine when I joined my Cod:UO clan, it used to be mike but I wanted something different, I have a wodden desk and I ran my hand over the edge of it and got a splinter in it. Used it ever since.
I put the Sgt infront for Bf2 cause splinter is already taken.

blizzard is my dodgeball name and 84 is my birth year.. i would have picked 53 which is my dodgeball number but that combo was already taken. As for blizzard, we wont go into how that came about :P

Its a good name :p I would have had something probably more stupid if i didnt have a brain block, probably naked penguin or something along those lins
