EA Downloader: are we getting ripped off?

With Euro Force only available through EA and thus not incurring p&p costs or middleman costs will EA kindly be passing on the savings to us?

Just read about how SF cost the same as in the shops which smacks of profiteering!

Probably just being sceptical but dont trust download only games, much prefer having a hard copy.

The booster pack is only $10. If you don't want it don't get it, no one is forcing you, but it's not a whole lot of money to spend on extra content. Make a few PB&J sandwiches instead of getting that BigMac.

Though I agree, it is nice to have a hard copy incase the unforseeable happens, but the I think the booster is reasonably priced for what you get.

it's 10$ for the euro forces, for 10$ you can't expect a DVD in a box , you only get DVD's for 10 $ with 10 year old movies

Hard copy? Download and burn to cd? Put on a hard drive? Get 28,796 floppys (don't bother counting, i made that up)

As for price, well it saves a bus/train fare into the town...and well they do have to host it after all, which isnt exactly cheap!

THey are making more money of course, and you are not paying that much for a buggy 3 maps.

Re: EA Downloader: are we getting ripped off?

it will be buggy. not really worth 10

Only download and only 32. Hardcopy would be better. Sure you can do it yourself but then you are paying for it. When it should already come as in hardcopy

10 isnt worth it when you think about SF

more maps/more toys/zip lines/new guns/hard copy for 30$ bucks . Well right now beacuse its a Hard copy you can find it for 20 or even 15 bucks

So for what 3 only 32 man maps that have all same everything as now some 6 guns and some 3 new toys that look the same but with different skins and sounds, no hard copy, probably buggy doesnt seem worth it

Then you won't be buying it. Simple.

I gave some old guy on the street $7 today so I guess I can pay $10 for 3 maps.

Personally I think they have already passed the saving on with charging $10...

As for the ones in the shops costing the same, I was under the impression that they where sell cards in the stores for those who could not pay online. You would still have to download. Is that not the case?

Hmm as long as us Brits don't get ripped off!! £10 = $16 roughly so anything more then say £5.50 an we're getting stiffed!

Where is the SF file saved if I used EA downloader? I would like to burn it on to a CD.
