chopper pilot/gunner tv missile question :P

I am learning to fly the choppers and i just wanted to clarify something, does that box which says something like "gunners view" show you where to aim for him to have a tv missile shot? If not where should i point, between the centre and the box seems to be when most people take shots,

I shows where he has his gun pointed. So if he is looking left I recommend moving to the left to give him a better shot.

If you are just starting I recommend the tutorial that Sloi and I put together (together we have 320hrs piloting), there's pictures and stuff for the pilot/gunner relationship and it has been amended for 1.2

And no, the box is not where the center of the TV view is. It differs on different helicopters. It IS actually where the TV view is on the HIND and Apache, but the Cobra for instance finds the middle of its tv veiw right under the pilots crosshairs.
