WHY high texture setting is crushing my PC.

It happens everytime when I do that. My friend can't even play on medium. Same issue. Computer stops responding and needs to be rebooted.

AMD 64 3700 Venice
2 Gig Corsair
9800 pro ddr256 and 256 bit. (THAT MAYBE THE PROBLEM)

Sorry to say, but a 9800 Pro isn't going to run on High by far. It's way to slow... My 9800XT doesn't even go above Low-Medium with a descent FPS.

hes right there, even a x700 wont play it all on high!

strange...i switched between low and medium textures on my fx5200 and theres only a small diff in fps (maybe 2-3) so i usually play on medium

hes right there, even a x700 wont play it all on high!

hmmm, i have a X700 i play on all high besides shadows is turned off...
