TV Missle Distance

I am upset about the TV missile firing distance being so much shorter.. In my opinion it is too short now... Anyone agree?

It should be the maximum unit viewing distance. That way if a helicopter sees another they can engage.

Well, everyone should agree, before the patch, i could kill anything before they even notice what hits them, but now they can see me, but usually when they see me, it's already to late, they die :)

This missile now it's more easier to control, every noob now can point and click and hit the target.

I hardly miss one, too bad with this short distance now, it's impossible to kill a plane by pursuing them

We just have to adapt

^ Yeah, I miss taking down planes with the TVs or attacking peeps from the skys with a TV. I got 5 kills with one TV once :p

I think the reduced distance is good (I am a gunner as well as a pilot)...
It reduces spawnraping with the tv-missile...

I have like 2/10 second of lag so for me TV is obsolete. I did love moving the apache to the edge of the carrier and taking shots at enemies on Gulf of Oman.

Ya, I used to do the same thing on that map as MEC... Pilot would hovor me over the beach and I would take shots at the deck of the carrier... Nothing better than hitting a full black hawk..

Not really concerned about it, I find that it blows up alot just short of the target I want to hit though. So I wouldn't mind them adding another 100 meters to the range.

The range was reduced from 600m to 400m. The reduction in range is a good thing imo. In league play there were a couple of maps that was won or lost by which chopper hit the other one first at their spawnpoint. Doesn't make for very exciting gameplay, "Ok we're live...damn, choppers down...we lose".

I have not seen the difference in my experience. I aim.....shoot....guide if needed.....and boom goes the tank.......boom goes the helicopter.
