Fight Stick for Choppers?

Hey guys just wondering should I be using a flight stick for choppers? I find that I am able to control the chopper alot better with a keyboard and mouse. What usually happens when I use a flight stick, the roll is way over done and the chopper ends up kind of rocking side to side uncontrollably. It is much more stable using a mouse and keyboard. I am using a MS Sidewinder for a flight stick. I definately do better with a stick for jet though.

I use K&m for choppers, joystick for jets.

About the only reason I could see for using a stick for choppers is the throttle control but if you have your stick plugged in you can use the K + M and then just use the throttle on the stick. I was really trying to get with the original post is does anyone else have the over controling problem while using a stick ...am I better off using the K + M

Jets are much better with joystick, i couldn't control the helicopters however, they need a much bigger dead zone and I couldn't be arsed to change it.

Keyboard only for Choppers and joystick for planes, i can do incredible manouvers with the keyboard on choppers that no one can do it with the joy :)

Mouse and keyboard for choppers...

I usually fly solo and annoy the hell out of enemy chopper pilots who use a joystick and are unable to fire and guide a tv-missile...

Mouse and keyboard only ever. I never used my j-stick, i just cant get used to it!

What I couldn't figure out is how to do a roll in a chopper. I think I have it figured out though. When you press "S" I believe it changes the angle of the rotor blades so it is forcing you down. This way you canfly upside down in a controllable manner.

I am getting a RC chopper for my B-day and it has reversable pitch so I can fly upside down. Blade CP at www.helihobby.com I highly recommend it to anyone. Don't get dual rotor, get tail rotor. Much better control.

I use keyboard and mouse for jets and choppers, always have since DCand always will.

Keyboard and mouse works for me. The best thing to do is to lower the sensitivity of your mouse in the BFHQ at the controls options. Mine is at .40 I believe and I can fly under bridges now and in tight spots, which I learned just from being a gunner.
