Is Arty more deadly?

as Arty has always been a random killer
hard to quantify
but is seam to me that
1. I get killed more often now
seems to be a larger area of covereage/splash damage

2. and I get more kills with Arty as commnader

anyon else have same feelings/obsevations

I'm an artillery magnet. I've NEVER survived being near or in an artillery strike.

But I have noticed that nowadays the artillery does seem to kill people a bit more. Whether it's because of experienced commanders or artillery being improved, I don't know.

I really don't think the overall effectiveness has been improved with the patch. But then I didn't run any tests or anything

just get out of the Red Circle of Death, count to 10 secs as soon a sthe 1st one hits, then run back in after teh dust clears

Wish it was that easy. There seems to be a disturbing amount of flaming Hummvees and similar flying out towards me after an artillery strike. It's always nice seeing a helicopter get hit by artillery though

Except when you're flying it :P Got tk'ed the other day flying over our artillery guns!

lol I got caught in an arty strike once, flying right through it and 1 of teh shells hit me then I blew up and the commander got a tk for it.
