2 comps playing BF2 at once causes glitching?

Hey i'm on a network with cable internet hosted by comcast. I have 2 computer's wirelessly connecting and we've tried to connect one through ethernet and another wirelessly. Both ways glitch while in game play when both comps are on at the same time but, one at a time works fine. Whats the problem?

It's not going to be easy but if you search in this forum you'll find 2 threads from people with the exact same problem. I can't remember if they ever got a solution but it may be worth looking.
