Need help getting expert pistol.

I find it impossible on Karkand. I start shooting at someone with my pistol as fast as I can hitting them a bunch of times and then they wip out their PKM and blow me away. Any tips?

Get on a roof that people don't usually get on (Stay away from popular sniping spots). I recommend support, though medic may be good too. Shoot unsuspecting victims.

If you can get a good spot, and get a lucky round, the badge should be yours easily.

Karkand is where I would probably go for it, though that map tends to bring out the worst in people. Sharqi would probably be good too.

If you can, find a server that has a smaller max player count than the map size holds. A 16-player server running 64 player maps can net you a lot of points.

Also, practice and get good with aiming while the pistol is in ironsights. It will shoot as fast as you click, and the accuracy is deadly. 2 shots to the head will kill most players (can't ignore the lag), and with enough practice, you should be hitting them with little trouble.

Those that dive into prone only increase the chance of you hitting their head, as it becomes the most exposed part of their body.

biggest tip for pistol is aiming for the head , otherwise it takes to long to kill them, they turn and you die .

I wouldn't try it on karkand, certainly not since 1.2 and the claymore abuse now , every entrence you could use is now blocked and nothing you can do about it .

maybe mashtuur or sharqi , think sharqi is the best map for this , if you have SF , g on ghost town or warlord (warlord same story as karkand claymored lately)

Find yourself an unsuspecting target or one that is stationary (i.e. proning/standing). Once you have done that, fire your pistol as fast as you can. If anything at all, just fire your pistol as fast as you can.

Your K/D ratio for that round won't exactly look nice but at least you got your pistol badge.

It would've been even easier to get it with the old patch since you can bunnyhop and shoot at the same time.

Tried using it in addition with other weapons ? Eg. Sniper, Hit the guy, if hes standing prone, 1 hit and hes gone.

Yeah I finally got it by taking SaladFork's advice. I also use the M95 to damage 'em and then finish them off with my pistol.

Also, remember that the iron sights are different for each pistol.

The USMC pistol has correct iron sights - place the target at the top of the pin.

The MEC pistol is off, and you must aim below (about 1/4 inch) where you want to hit.

The PLA pistol is also off, but in the opposite direction. Aim slightly above (several millimeters) where you want to hit.

On those types of servers you'll find 3/4 of people in a vehicle so good luck blowing them up with your 9mm.

Just find a server with a ton of people and use nothing but your pistol. Don't worry about your deaths, just concentrate on getting kills with the pistol. Try to get on the US side because their pistol is the most effective and accurate.

Another tip is to shoot someone once in the chest with an M95 or M24 and finish them with your pistol.

Today I shot some dude in the chest with the L96 and than hit him twice with the pistol and he did not die:hmm: is it normal? It take 1 shot with the M95 to finish off but 2 with the L96/M24 right?
I find it very hard to HS someone with the ironsight... cant see nothin:|:

Shonghua in the woods as spec ops with a silent pistol. There is always people in the trees around the middle flags. People that think karkand is the map to get this badge are just too obsessed with karkand to see any other scenarios
