Right off the bat, I want to say I'm hitting that magical point where I become completely fed up with thei whole damned community. Not qute there yet, thanks to a handful of people who are up for rational discussion, but I'm speeding towards it like a 1.12 stinger locked on a friendly chopper.
Thus, this is going to be a somewhat grumpy post.
Let's cut to the chase...
I'm sick and tired of noob this noob that. Ya know what? This game IS made for noobs. Any game that doesn't cator to noobs is a marketing failure. The vast majority of players are NOT "hard core". They are casual players who like to play a couple rounds here and there. They'll never bother to post on a forum, join a clan, or play in a tournement. They just want to enjoy some entertainment that they paid for. If a game is to be successful, it's those people they have to play to. It's called good business.
Next point, the endless (and worthless) complaining. Don't give me that crap about complaining about complainers... 'cause you'd just be complaining too. I don't mean that people don't have the right to voice their concerns, grievences, dislikes, or whatever. Of bloody cource you can do that. What's stinking up these forums is the endless injections of "whaa" into threads that are intended for discussion. Ya don't like an element of the game? Don't post in a thread where people are trying to talk about how to adapt. Simple. Stay the farq out. We really need some Admin support in this regaurd. The signal to noise ratio has gotten stupid lately.
Then there's the egos. My god. There's some truely screwed up people out there. This is a GAME. It's MEANINGLESS. From a group of 12 yearolds with nothing real in their worlds to worry about, I'd expect it... but the majority of folks 'round here don't have an excuse. Yeah, it's a hobby and something you can be passionate about, but for the love of god understand that being unber at BF2 does NOT make you a better person.

Not really. I've enjoyed TBF2 as a place to yap with fellow fans and to discuss ideas and concepts, but that's just not a part of this community anymore.
