Describe your first BF2 knife kill?

My first knife kill was pretty funny. I was on the Sharqi map at the TV Station

I ran into the second floor area where the flag is and there were three enemy soldiers and we both started shooting at each other in surprise (like 2 or 3 shots). I then stopped shooting and said "Negative" via voice emod and they stopped shooting.

Two of them turn their sniper guns away from me, pointing them out at the clearing trying to hit other invading soldiers from the mountain. The other even threw me a first aid kit ("first aid here") and then went out the door to guard the stairwell.

I then realized they had a red tag and was an enemy soldier. So i pulled my knife and stabbed the guy closest to me in his back about three times (couldnt get in range). The other sniper turned, fired a shot which missed me and as he reloaded his rifle i charged him and stabbed him once. Then i quickly turned around and heading toward the door just as the medic was running into the doorway to assist his fallen comrades. Thats when i stabbed him once just as he hit me once with his rifle.

All in all, i got three guys with a knife. The medic was one of those star ranking players. The other two were 2 or 3 slash ranks.

Of course, then some noob throws C4 in the doorway and kills me (TEAM KILL!).

Agreed about the snipers. I love playing sniper but I don't do it much because (aside from being useless to the team) I dread getting the knife!

Whoops, my bad. I thought it was "Best Knife Kill." Now I see it's "First".. oops.

I don't remember much about the first time. I do know it inolved a sniper who didn't know how to hide his claymores properly, and didn't know to keep his eyes open and keep moving.

Off topic: actually, I still say a sniper can be useful to a squad IF USED CORRECTLY. Use one as a squad marksman (pick off enemies that are threats to your squad, spot out enemies, etc.) The catch is, you have to move with your squad, even though you're staying behind them. I've been trying it out a bit more lately with friends on TS, and it's been working alright.

Yes a sniper with a squad is a beautiful thing...but how often does that happen?

I made the same mistake: first knife kill was a guy on the TOW...at my flag. Go figure.

Best knife kill: a face to face confrontation with a noobtuber (pre patch ofcourse) ofcourse his nade killed me, but I got a kill for him tho', the funniest part was that he typed: "OMG OWNED" in the chat :P

I play sniper a lot on a squad. Actually, i never go lone wolf, did in the beginning but no longer.

When i do, i play the counter-sniper role. I take the long shots that my squad cant see or hit. I also use claymore to cover my team when they takeup a defensive position.

I only wish they had more automatic shorter range sniper rifles. Like the M1 or something with a lower scope range.

I believe all my 13 kills with a knife has been snipers. The first one was at Karkand. They was prone by the tree shooting at the USMC. I sprinted and jumped over him and ran around the building and said, uhm.....I did to try out my knife to ensure it works. So I ran back and the sniper was still there, so I jumped and proned on him with my knife out......I slash.....I kill.

Don't remember my first knife kill, but the best one is this:
I killed a guy because I was completely out of bullets as a medic and only one mag left on the hand gun when I see a sniper spotted on the map. I run up behind him and stab him, just to get the kill and get the sniper out of our base. He then starts to rant about how it is low to stab people in the back and starts a vote to kick me. After the admin sees this and talks to both of us he kicks him for whining: message {name} was kicked: Do you want some cheese with that whine?

My first knife kill was on 2 snipers hiding on the water reservior on Mashtuur City, they were both so busy looking down their scopes that they didnt see me climb up the ladder in front of & between them and stabbed them both in the ass!

My best knifing spree so far has been on Sharqi, went as a medic (run the longest) and took up position atop the sniping building at the end of that 'hill' that runs from the TV station to the road beside the construction yard

Anyone who has tried to guard the TV station will know lots of people always try to sneak up on the TV station along that hill and I managed to bump off a entire squad with the knife because no one ever looks behind them on that hill to the TV station!

Can't remember the map personally. But it involved stabbing a sniper in the back, proning on his location, dropping one of his team mate, and high tailing it out of there :)

my first knife kill was a doosy and a last resourt.

ime on 16 person gulf of oman and thers 1 of those 3 ppl squads with the medic on steriods. so ime shooting this suply person hiding behind a tree with the other 2, kill him, medic revives him and i think he gives up or something cos he dosent shoot me and i just sart shooting agein n kill him n hese revived and ime just running about trying not to get killed by grenades and i work my way through my m4 bullets, then i go through 2 clips of my hand gun before running at them all and stabbing the c**p out of them with the knife cos they wouldnt die.

i never use the knife so i was quite good o nthe game by the time i did it.

i just had 3 great kinfe kills today playing operation clean sweep and three sinpers were look at the mec helio spwan i drive up in their line of sight trying to run on over but dont kill him so i get out and hes looking the other way so i stab him and i turn around and 2 more sinper are just sitting there. So i stab both of thoses suckers, i just cant believe 3 sinpers missed me comming head on to them

i was spec ops and was getting gang banged on karkand. So i hid behind this dumpster and waited for the firing to stop. My teammate threw a smoke to concel my movement, and started laying down suppressive fire with his m16. So i run into the smoke, and to my suprise, a bunch of guys on the ground firing at some sniper (ally sniper) in the distance. arty starts falling on us so i think fast, and wip out the knife and take out one guy. It was suspensful!

[its a bit off topic, but here's where it gets fun]

i survie the arty attack, along with the enemy and my buddy gets sniped so i have no more suppressive fire, and i hear a tank rolling up. A medic trys to revive the guy i killed and i notice its not just one medic, its 4. So i drop 3 pieces of c4 real quick and hit the deck, because as soon as the smoke disappeared, the tank rolls over me and stops (I’m not dead, its 1.0 bf2), I wait, make a run for it, jump and spin and blow the c4, killing 6 guys and the tank, taking a bit of damage. My knife and my ally set it all up.

best knife kill: jumped on a t-90 and stabbed the machine gunner on top!
