Got 2 Unlocks At 20k:it's Normal?

Noob Q:
Reached 20k today,got promoted 1st sergeant and surprise...got 2 unlocks!
(YES,I ALREADY USED THE 2 UNLOCKS THAT CAME "FREE" WITH THE PATCH DAYS AGO.....)
Is that normal?

You got two unlocks from SF and BF2.

The two previous unlocks were for the P90 and L96A1.

If you had all basic badges then you actually went up two ranks, so logically you earned two unlocks. Congrats!

I'm still about 250 short to 20K. Since 1.2 increases the weapon accuracy(most of them), it's harder to get knife and pistol badges.

No one ever said that as soon as you patched to 1.2 you would get any unlocks. Play the game and earn points and get your weapons. Do not expect a patch to do this for you.

Umm no one got free unlocks with the patch.

Everyone got 2 free unlocks about 2 weeks before the patch.

LOL....If you actually read my post, I started it with..."A noob Question"...so I DO call myself a noob!
And of course I KNOW that you get unlocks with each promotion in rank, just seemed wierd you get 2 unlocks with 1 rank.

But,now that ARC|Noodles mentioned,since i have all the badge maybe the game considered that 2 rank advancement, so the 2 unlocks.....

You get an unlock for every new rank in BF2 until you have all the weapons, and if you own BF2 SF you get 2 new unlocks per new rank because SF adds more unlocks.
