it's on par with the catalyst... dont see any difference in the 3dmark score or battlefield...

That's because the Omegadrivers aren't about FPS in some artifical benchmarking tool. It's about maintaing a high degree of quality and giving the user more options that the vanilla Catalyst drivers.

The purpose of the Omega Drivers is to provide gamers with an alternate set of drivers, ones that have more options and features than the original sets. The drivers contain optimizations, extra features (like OC capabilities), more resolutions and internal tweaks that can give them the edge in a gaming environment over the normal drivers, which are often tailored for synthetic benchmarks. All Omega driver sets are tested (unless noted) by myself in my own PC or in an alternate PC (in the case of the Nvidia drivers) to ensure maximum compatibility and reliability.

They? OmegaDrive => 1 guy.

It is one of the most respected tweaked drivers around and has been for some time. If anyone needs to get payed, it would be OmegaDrive, for using his own time creating his sets of alternative drivers.

They come with the old style ATI Control Panel that you don't get with the new and 'improved' Catalyst Control Center.
