I hit 50k points the other night after 6 months of work. I got all my unlocks, couple badges..and ya know what, now I have nothing to really look forward to, and it sucks.

If you play to win the game. or for accomplishing in game objectives, then I don't think you bore as quickly. I never gave a **** about medals, only unlocks.
Now that I'm getting toward the end o my unlocks I'll admit I'm a bit sad. But at the core of my playing motivation, is to wax some fools on line and win games and be on the top of scoreboard. That does and will sustain me.

Don't play BF2 like and MMORPG and you won't have that "MMORPG end of the adventure funk" when you have all your shiney meaningless medals.

Badges, scores, rank all matter.

Yes, its FUN just to play the game, but nearly every game thats been made has had a score system in it. So on that basis, SCORE DOES MATTER.

Stat padders should be shot in real life, just so they can never do it again.

But the BF2 world is made up of people like the bsf crew who will pad their ass off...and then turn around and brag like we own them respect.

glad that you've heard of us. although i dont know you at all. let me tell you something, before you've played with/against a particular person or group, dont judge them. what some of us bragged about was not ranks, points or any of the awards, but the results of our scrims and matches against other top clans. some ppl dont like us just simply because they got baseraped or constantly killed, i can understand that, i dont have problems with them, but that does not give you the right to think that we've got all the points by statpadding. you tell me how im supposed to statpad in a jet?

btw you wont see BSF in pubs anymore. gl hunting us down.

Seriously..whats a matter anymore?
I mean the total number of availbel unlocks can be acheived with only 50K points, and ribbons badges etc..they dont do anything.
So why do we care if someone gets a badge by knifing a friend, or sitting in a jeep in the water. 1,2 or maybe 3 useless people on a team for a round or two..hell you get that without padders.

I just dont get it, and Ive stopped caring. Cant show badges/ribbons off during a game..and I could care less what rank you are.
Why does padding affect your game?

because they are virgins who cant get laid , arent old enough to drink and are still in school or unemployed so the most important problem of the day is "someone else's" score that "someone else" cheated to get.
