A rule I learned from 8 years of playing MMORPGs. The whiners post in the forum, the people having fun play the game. Most people only come to the forum to vent then they head back into the game. The forum posters represent a small minority of most games' playerbase.

Which is why all the gameplay tweaks should have NEVER been added until the problems with the game engine itself were fixed. That's what I complain about. I want the performance fixed, I want the nametag bug fixed, I want the editor fixed. Things that aren't influenced by the frustration of dying in game, but are real errors in the code that need to be addressed rather than some person's interpretation of the game being "I died, therefore it should be changed."

Isn't that why most are whining? Because they died in game, got owned, and whine about it saying it should be fixed?

I look at it this way:

Whining is attributed to things relating to gameplay issues, play styles of other players, personal opinions of the in-game presence of said entity, etc. Basically, people die from something, come here, "whine" about how they died, therefore said tactic or weapon or vehicle or whatever should be nerfed (or why the weapon they were using at the time needs to be more powerful since it didn't save them).

Complaining is attributed to a logical arguement relating to core issues with the game engine and the code of said engine or related programs (server files, editor, etc.)

I hate the new patch because <whatever I whored in 1.12> has been nerfed into oblivion. I also hate it because:

1) <some statement about overpowered AA>
2) <some silly whining about the blackhawk>
3) <whining about how snipers now kill me when before I could walk up to them while they were shooting and knife them in the face>
4) <crying because I'm too stupid to not walk into a claymore that I;m staring at because we all know there's only one path from A to B>
5) <some off the wall rambling about how support guns are really pea shooters>

just looking here shows a lot. 40+ new bugs and some 4 fixs I never heard about. Really are you people like WOOO no bhop/prone hop and Super AA so this patch is the BEST ever.. ?? or what? some gameplay changes doesnt make this patch the greatest

I seriously hope they decide to keep the AA the way it currently is right now. I may not be the best pilot out there (30 hours with 2000/300 W/L)... but I have had no problems evading missles once I've been locked on. Majority of my kills have been from bombing runs, but with the improved missle system I now find myself hunting down other enemy jets.

I have no problem being shot down by AA! infact I find it a challenge trying to evade the missles (I usually fly high and try to avoid the stingers).

If EA decides to change the way AA works in the 1.21 hotfix, all you whiners deserve to be punched in the gut.
