How long does it take EA and DICE to realize that their server browser is the worst one ever made in a game? How many complaints, glitches and crashes does it take to get it through their heads, that it sucks major donkey balls? I mean, it is slow, laggy, unresponsive, lacking of basic features, not user friendly, unstable and many of the features (such as map filters) don't work at all. What do the devs at DICE think about it? Don't they even care? They haven't even said a word about it, despite the complaints from the community. Why can't they just find someone else's browser or redesign a new one? It is one of the most frustrating things in the whole game.
Here are my bugs/complaints so far (post more so i can support my argument):
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. You can't use the scroll wheel, which has been invented for about 10 years now and everyone loves.
2. You can't sort favorites out by map, name, etc.
3. The pings are never accurate (mostly too high).
4. Map filters don't work at all the first few times, but then they work afterwards.
5. When clicking on some servers, the browser stalls for about 30 seconds.
6. Sometimes, the current map for the server will be displayed as the previous map until you join the server.
7. Scrolling is slow, choppy and tedious, and sometimes result in the browser freezing up.
8. You can't select it to only display Special Forces servers while in vanilla, and vice versa.
9. The IP/port is sometimes not displayed correctly when clicking on a server.
10. Server filters in general sometimes do not work right.
11. (May be fixed) if there are more than 6 filters selected, no servers will be shown when you update the list.
12. When joining a server, the message does not appear and it freezes up.
13. Overall performance of the browser is laggy and unresponsive (Feels like you are moving a cursor with a spring attached, and that buttons don't like it when you press them)
14. Searches for servers don't work, (fixed, type in "%yourtext" - Drevor) and there is no way to find part of a server name.
15. You should be able to see what country a server is located to determine ping and lag you will get.
