Twice I have been playing BF2 and was told that I was recommended for an award...But when I went to BFHQ it says that I have not been given an award since 2/3....The second time I got an award the server died and I lost my connection...did I lose my stats from this entire session (I was doing pretty well), and why haven't my awards been recorded? I have also been stuck as a corporal since the end of Jan, I think that my lack of promotion may be related to not getting awards.

awards do not affect your promotions.
hell you could be 2nd lt without a single badge... kinda impossible tho
but maybe its because you need to wait a bit... also, check bf2s.com and look up your name. check at the bottom and it should say something about time till next update ect ect. that helps me :PComment

OK thanks. I just thought it a little odd that I was promoted to Corporal in my first 10 days of playing or so and I haven't been promoted in almost a month....either I am playing worse than I did when I first started or something was weird, or the requirements for the next promotion were much harder to attain.
I also thought it was weird that there was no lag at all to BF2HQ for getting my first few awards, while the last 2 awards I got over the last 2 weeks have not been shown in BF2HQ.Comment
