    Professional gaming and BF2.

There has seemed to be a lot of press regarding professional gaming lately (or maybe I have been noticing it more). Many of the programs have featured Counterstrike. It would seem to me that a game would need to be fairly free of bugs to be used in this capacity. Is there an accepted standard for a game to be used in professional gaming circuits? Is BF2 being used in professional gaming tournaments? Pardon my naivety, I am just curious.

There has been some small tournaments with monetary prizes. But the scene isn't very large and is mostly 8vs8.

There does not seem to be any CPL teams for BF2, but there are CAL BF2 teams. Funny how Call of Duty 2 is in the CPL tourney list but not BF2. Says a lot about BF2, IMO
