Do I have to unlock the BF2 weapon before I can unlock the BF2:SF weapon?

For example, if I want the SCAR-L do I have to unlock the G36C first?

I am wondering because I am going to buy Special Forces soon and am wondering if I should save my unlock. I play the medic and I don't like the L85A1 as much as the G36E, so I am hoping I can save the unlock, wait, and buy SF2 or if I have to unlock the L85 before I can get the G36E.

Also, for the support guns is the PKM better than the MG36?

Yes, yes you do.
You'll get extra unlocks for the SF weapons.
When you rank up you get a Bf2 unlock and an SF unlock.

And about the support weapons, the MG36 shoots faster then the PKM, but is not as accurate. Although the PKM overheats easier. Personnaly i like the PKM bc its better for long ranges and it does more damage. But screw auto rifles, unlock the L96 and become a HS MACHINE!!
