Well a guy before said that the IQ is so good! and another guy said that with the 83.xx's somethings missing out, and as you can see in the screenshots they look the same!

It is not the same. I'm a pure GFX whore myself. Try it online, 64 player map and see:

- 20-25% more fps
- no dips, stable around fps, also in heavy fights
- insane IQ

It's for real!

Did any of you run some kind bf2 timdemo benchmark? Cuz 3dmark scores don't mean ****.

oh and guys i just found out..these drivers only work on geforce 6 series an above ... so my 5200 wont be getting any boosts today

Ok I loaded them, gained a few fps here and there using some of my own testing methods.

Getting real freaky shadows though. This image is with all settings at high, including dynamic shadows!

ok i was one on my post earlier ... the 5200 can use the 83.90 drivers..u just need a "modded inf" driver...so if u really want..head over to the driver forums to go ask for one..(im not sure if im allowed to post this) but ask "xenon" (he also has a 5200)...btw now im going to test the drivers

*edit* ok i used 3dmark03 and i got 1165 (vs 1168 from 82.12) so not much difference...

The dynamic shadows rendered in the BF2 engine have always been very jaggedy, seemingly in dire need of AA. Doesn't matter what settings you're playing at, shadows will never be perfectly smooth.

Your shadows were probably always like that, but you just didn't notice that they were jaggedy to that extent.

I get an FPS DECREASE (of 1 fps) with these going from 81.98v2 from TRU.

6800GT AGP.

dam darksniper you love these drivers i can see! hahah but id have to say i installed them and noticed stuff being smoother i was also able to enable A at 4x without any noticable looses in framerates. Good call!
