nope. i uninstall, reboot "windows has finished installing your new software for (graphic card)" in less than a minute of booting up, nothing else popping up.

Weird... Well anyways, I just installed the drivers and they look much better, and its such a difference I know its not my imagination at work!

I also used to score ~7850 at 485/1.18 in 3dmark05. After the drivers I got a 8097!!! WOW! Can't wait to try it in Bf2 in a few minutes! Highly recommended!!

Just ran it at 495/1.2 and got an 8199.

I got better FPS with the 82.12, but I went to 81.98, my scores didnt really change, I think I am a little more stable, but my FPS has dropped somewhat. I might get these just because they seem good.

I got roughly 100 more points per graphics test. Also, the image quality, in terms of colors, seemed more vibrant and clean. Running ATi tool to see if I can hold a stable 495/1.22 for an hour without artifacts. If it works that will be a higher stable clock along with better performance per clock, and better image quality... which would make this a very good driver set.

For all that, you do not give us one peice of supporting information with strait facts. Where did you hear/see/read this from? Do you have any proof? Screenshot comparisons or such?

Exactly what is left out? Is dynamic lighting disabled? What...what..WHAT? Until then, do not post this Bullcrap.

exactly, post your full specs, some screen shots. some webpages (which you sorta already did). the FPS change, map size all that.

I fixed the links up, I try to do this with every driver release for forums :)

As for other maps, I cant really be bothered switching drivers and what not anymore, just got home from a 3 hour CISCO course so im kind of tired. Sorry :cry:

I can run my card for gaming at 495/1.22 now. Before it would only be able to run benchmarks and lock up the system during any games but now its running fine... weird. 3Dmark05 went up a couple points at this lower clockrate (got a lower score with 505/1.22 and the older drivers). 3dMark06 went up about 50 points.

BF2 seems to be a little higher in the FPS area but there is no way of telling for sure. The framerate never dropped below 60 when it would sometimes get into the 30's before. Again this isn't proof-positive but I am happy with it. Also, showing a screen shot of both drivers with the same image will only show differences in Image quality, but you won't know if you got any FPS jumps until you play the game and compare action areas of similar size, intensity, and server size.

Anti Anialising - it smoothens out the edges in your game, make it look better but can decrease performance.

how can i install the drivers without Windows automatically reinstalling the old ones before i get a chance to put the new ones in? i uninstall, reboot, old drivers install, run some Driver Cleaner, still the old ones install. all i could do was install the new ones over the old ones and in my experience, that just makes hybrids which doesn't work properly...

windows shud sya 'new hardward found' then a popup msg appears & u click 'search advanced' & u locate the new drivers urself & update.

Well a guy before said that the IQ is so good! and another guy said that with the 83.xx's somethings missing out, and as you can see in the screenshots they look the same!
