ok. Just tryed and i can confirm i defo get higher frame rates with these drivers. frame rate seems to be more constant and doesnt dip as much in intense battles etc. On previous drivers (81.95) i would get an average of 55 fps ish and now i seem to be getting around 65 fps.

these have definitaly improved performance for me!

From the review :

A few words regarding Battlefield 2 performance – some people have reported poor performance with this driver, others have reported solid frame rates and less crashing. I don't play it myself, so obviously I can't say how it was for me :P Daishi has revised the inf, so the hopefully the bugs are sorted now!

Take the english one. First uninstall the old ones. After that, run the installer, reboot, windows will ask for the extracted folder: C:\nvidia etc.

I'm reporting a 20% fps increase, no stutter and Image Quality is through the ROOF!

Mods, please make it a sticky. Now, tested on 3 different computers:

- Overall fps increase of 20-25%
- Much better Image Quality
- No Stutter or dips

They ROCK!

lol its awesome driver... i hit the 90's for the first time in a long time b4 1.12 (single player of course..) and MP it has made my gameplay smoother... 45's 50's average fps

what graphics card are you guys using? That makes a big difference as well.

i tried them and i see an increase in performance as well increase in fps and some stuttering brought on by the latest patch seems to have disappeard.

But this is just my opinion your mileage may vary.

One things about lag / stuttering:

I have rig with a Asus V9999 Ultra Deluxe (nv 6800 Ultra) and a P4 3.2 with 2Gb of Corsair XLow Latency RAM. A pretty good rig for BF2.

Before 1.2 : I put everything to High and add a sprinkle of x2 AA and it plays like a charm...

After 1.2 : game start to lag and stutter after some minutes up to a point where you can't play anymore (far less pilot anything).

I tried all kind of drivers, WHQL, Asus, NVidia, tweaked from Guru3D, lowered all setting to Medium. Only by lowering settings to Medium did I get any improvement but never up to the smoothness and FPS I had before (75... because of my LCD display & vertical Sync). Then I remove AA.... AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH LOVELY !!!! It was back to its usual pre 1.2 smoothness. I put back all settings on High but without AA and I still enjoyed high FPS nearly as good as before.

I even uninstalled BF2, defraged the HD, updated BIOS, updated everything up to my baby girl pampers firmware and my wife silk stockings drivers, reinstalled BF2 with full 1. patch but to no avail....

Thus I can only advise you to try it. You have lag and stuttering graphics ? Yeah ? You got AA activated ? try to turn it off. It did the trick for me and will do until EA/Dice fix the crap they did with 1.2.

My own two eurocents ;-)

SP FPS is steady at 90.
MP FPS is around 50 - 60.

IQ is the best I have seen....
All high except Dynamic lighting (for the obvious reason).
4xAA

Came from the 81.89 (?).
