My game is crashing sometimes, this is not RAM video or anything else.
I think its a sound, each time i join MP game and if its quiet no one spot anything and commander sit there and making no noise the game run smooth, i choose my spawn point and spawn.
But if everyone talkin "enemy boat spotted"" or anything else (no one can shut up) my game so crappy i wait till it stops lag,if i'm lucky i can start playing with huge lag about 2 min. If not game just crash.

    From the site above.

    Crashing Problems
Don't even bother trying to make it work with more than one audio device. If I so much as have my pro-audio gear drivers on the system, BF2 crashes to the desktop instantly upon going into the audio options. EA support admitted this to be a problem and said they weren't going to fix it. So, if you have more than one audio device, disable the second one or return the game to the store.
If the game is crashing to the desktop at startup, there are a couple of things that may help. If you're using the ATI Catalyst v5.8 drivers, then try upgrading; the v5.9 suite is supposed to fix it. I've seen the ***** crack seem to cause this, as well as editing your VideoDefault.con file and changing refreshrate to one instead of zero. If none of these things help, well, then you're probably hosed.
If the game crashes intermittently when playing, this is one hell of a lot harder to fix. I should know; it took me months to get it working. The suggestions that I have, briefly, are to turn down audio acceleration, turn down the front-side bus (FSB) on your computer, try running at a lower resolution, and try ditching your system firewall or any other third-party software running in the background.
