lol, "beta testing." memory leak? patch 1.21? 1000 other issues? seriously, their beta testing team does NOT deserve that role after sooooooooo many issues with the previous patches!

some stuff i would like to see is make the smgs a little better make the pkm a little less accurate from far rang and fix all the bugs

But who? Hopefully a bigger and better group of individuals than usual, because they seem to miss an awful lot.

The people that tested the current patch we're obviously not upto the task (sorry whoever it is) Hopefully the new patch wont cause more problems than it sovles this time....

They should look at these forums and invite the dedicated bf2 players (the ones that know what there talking about) to test their patch instead of relying on the current bunch of "testers" all the time.

Remember, the beta testers are simply part of the quality assurance process for any software project. All they do is produce a list of bugs. Typically the fixing of the bugs get prioritised by the developers who are then informed of a release target by sales/marketing ie. there is not enough time to fix everything. Everyone has to deal with compromise in such a situation.

Surely this isn't news to most people here?

Also, I seriously doubt there will be any gameplay tweaks in this patch, only bug fixes.

I hope EA/Dice doesn't mess with the weapon accuracy...

I would like to see them introduce the ability to pick up landmines, C4 and clays..

Of course...AA that takes ZERO skill to use is PERFECTLY BALANCED! LOL!

AA needs to be a system that uses skill just like EVERY other weapon in this game....

Right now, the missiles kill everything, and all you have to do is left click....you don't even have to aim in the general direction, the missiles take 90 degree turns and autolocks onto everything.....

Its quite stupid.

Alcorr, stop whining about the AA in every thread. The skill's not so much in the using of the AA as it is in avoiding it in helos or jets. Having said that, knowing when to jump into the AA site, knowing when to fire (before flares or after) does take some practice and one can improve. If one can improve then there's a skill involved and like everything else in BF2 there are people more skilled in using the AA than others.

Im an ok plane flyer and i dont have a joystick so its pretty much inpossible to dodge these uber-lockon missiles

It takes ABSOLUTELY ZERO skill to shoot a tow missle at an APC, tank or jeep and that's usually a sure kill, except for the tanks. Now the good players think twice before driving mindlessly into capture zones and choke points.

The AA is is finally an effective tool against choppers and jets and you'll have to adapt and overcome like anyone else. Leave the AA alone!:evil:

BTW, sniping is fun again. I love that new gun.
