EA is making a mistake by giving specific release dates. They could just say "it will be released soon" or this month or "within few weeks" or "it will be ready when it is ready" especially that their release dates are proven to be jokes.
personaly I do not care if they release it this month or next month. However, it is very annoying if they give you a date and it turns out to be wrong.
The problem is that they are listening to the huge number of people who keep saying "do not let us in the dark". actually we'd better stay in the dark.

Hurray !

I actually have to applaud EA on this one, and you gotta give them credit. Instead of releasing Euro Forces this week, and forgetting about the bugs, they are taking the care to push back EF and fix the problems.

I rather wait and have them fix what is already broken, then rush EF and add more bugs.

I'm happy.

Why would you want a date that would get changed every few months? That would be a lot more frustrating than 'When It's Done'.

Well, personally.. having quite a few hours logged in bf2.. this latest patch is a nightmare.. Not sure what this "hotfix" 1.21 is.. but I cant seeing it affecting anything that they changed.. I betcha it will just fix the new bugs.. like the higher pings, lower frame rates and various others.. as far as I am concerned.. they took a huge step backwards with the last patch..

I do not think they will address such serious issues like higher pings and lag. they will fix the AT rocket issue and the server browser and some similar things that can be coded easily... again CODED EASILY.... so they can release it within couple of weeks at most. I do not think they are willing to postpone the booster pack to the second quarter of this year. they want more money for sure.

Have you ever noticed that the people that back EA or Dice have such a low post count? Makes you think that maybe they work for them. Hmmmmm, .

Also my reasoning for the above statement is that how can anyone cut these guys any slack after all the fuk-ups. So either you work for them or you like repeated kicks to the nuts.

This is a very needed hotfix.

1. AAs get buggy
2. AT missles are buggy
3. Shock paddles are buggy
4. Sounds don't work sometimes

Dunno what else, but those are what I can think of now.

I just wish they would tell us WHAT they are going to fix so we can b1tch about it.

Player classes will now have a fixed limit per team.

All team vehicles will be tied into the ticket system, when the vehicle tickets run out the team vehicles will no longer spawn for the remainder of the round, this will mainly be applied to helicopters and planes.

If to you, postponing a video game is as painful as being kicked in the balls then you have some questions to ask yourself...:laugh:

I think the decision not to overlook the bugs was the right one
